View the gallery' path=thanksgiving_2007]It’s Thanksgiving week and Lauren has a bunch of family in town for the holiday. We’ve been having a great time visiting with everyone.

I’ve also been enjoying our new camera. I’ve taken a lot of pictures in the last couple days and I’ve uploaded a gallery for your viewing pleasure. Some of the pictures were taken inside during the evenings. Some where taken outside in the woods yesterday afternoon.

Well, it’s Thanksgiving day and I have a lot to be thankful for. I thank and praise God for the gift of my beautiful wife. She is such a blessing to me.

I’m thankful for the little baby God has blessed us with. Lauren says she can feel the baby moving a little bit now. I’m so jealous!

I’m thankful for my family. I miss them and wish they were closer, but I’m looking forward to seeing my dad and brothers (and sisters) at Christmas.

And I’m thankful for the wonderful church family that God led me to. Rusty and Rebbecca (the pastor and his wife) are such giving people who truly love God. The teens are like a family to Lauren and I, we almost feel like they are our own children! And the rest of the congregation are such caring people. We’re really blessed.

Most of all, I’m thankful for my savior Jesus. What wondrous love! What grace! Thank you Lord!

Brance and I had a lot of fun taking a picture before our 16 week doctor appointment. To be more exact, it was actually taken at 16 weeks 6 days. We plan to take a picture before each of my appointments from this point on so that we can see how much my belly changes .

Well, I have finally gotten “too big for my britches”and I’m having to make the switch to maternity clothes . I tried to put it off as long as possible, because I knew that I would have to be in them for the next couple of months. But when it got to the point where the only pre-pregnancy pant I could fit into were my athletic pants, I decided it was time to make the change over. I’m glad I did! You wouldn’t believe how comfortable my new maternity jeans are… much more comfortable than trying to squeeze into jeans that no longer fit . I also ended up purchasing a few tops I found on sale. They’re a mixture of maternity and long bodice l/xl tops (that fit like the maternity). I have to admit that this whole pregnancy feels a little more real now that I’m actually “showing” a little.
