Brance, Lauren & Haddie

The very first baby shower for Haddie was given to me by my sweet sister-in-laws during our visit to MO over Christmas.  It was an intimate family shower where Haddie received many nice gifts.  This month held two more baby showers – one given to me by my church family and one by a close friend of my mom with my aunt.  I was so thankful to receive so many nice gifts for Haddie.  In fact, there has been very little left for Brance and I to purchase before our little girl’s arrival thanks to the generosity of our family and friends.  We are very blessed!

Well, we started baby classes last week and will continue through the end of this month.  Our month is packed full between child birth classes, breastfeeding class, infant cpr and the must schedule hospital tour .  We’ve attended one child birth class and will attend our second tonight.  The nurse who is teaching our class went very quickly through the material last week, but the video she showed and the book she gave us were both full of useful information.  I’m interested to see how tonight goes when we actually get on the floor with pillows and blankets to practice different relaxation techniques.  I guess I have a special interest in these techniques where Brance and I hope to have a non-medicated birth.  I’m sure I’m going to need all the aid possible to make it through labor and delivery !

Today is 32 weeks in the pregnancy. Lauren got dressed up for a wedding and I took a couple pictures of her and Haddie.

Isn’t she just adorable?! She is so beautiful. I’m a very blessed man!

Haddie is growing like crazy. She wiggles around in there and kicks and it’s so cute. I talk to her a lot because I want her to know her daddy’s voice. I’m so excited to meet our little one, and hold her in my arms.
