Baby Proof?!?

Okay moms with experience.  What are the signs that your baby might take off on all fours any day?  It has been a while ago that Haddie started getting her little toosh up underneath her and scootching a bit.  For the longest while this happened infrequently… I’d say once every few days.  Well, now she is rolling all over the place and scootching frequently (several times a day).  Brance and I are wondering if we shouldn’t spend the weekend getting our apartment baby proofed.

Hello! Kiss Haddie for me! She is growing so fast. . . If she has her little rumpus up in the air with her knees under her, the next step will likely be rocking back and forth in that position — then suddenly taking off. Noah used the “Army crawl” — as in scooching on his belly and pulling himself along with his arms for the most part. Then all of a sudden, he just started walking! He crawled very little. Isn’t it neat how God makes us all different? Not any less adorable though. Chuck, Kristin, and I are enjoying a week’s visit with Noah, and it takes all three of us to keep up with him! Ha! Enjoy Haddie now while she is still fairly contained — or should I say, enjoy your rest — cause it’s ALL fun!!!! Hugs to you all, Aunt Mary

I meant to respond to this a long time ago, but my life is not quite back to normal yet. Is Haddie crawling yet? One day Clara Beth learned how to get in to a sitting position by herself. She would lean over in to a crawling position, then push back up to sitting position. Once she learned that, she started to crawl probably 2 days later. Once she started to crawl, she was all over the place in no time. I would say – it’s definitely time to start baby-proofing! Let the fun begin!
