Brance, Lauren & Haddie

I walked into the living room one day this week to this scene.  It was so cute  I couldn’t resist creeping back to my bedroom to get the camera so that I could take a picture.  Haddie LOVES books – board books, picture books, chapter books, phone books…    If there is anything with pages in the room, Haddie is right there to look at them and turn them.  I wish I could take credit for this, but I’m afraid I can’t.  I have tried to read to Haddie since she was little, but not near as much as I feel I should.  So I’m not sure if it is a baby or Haddie thing, but Haddie REALLY is into books these days.  And surprisingly she handles them pretty well… even when they aren’t board books.

It was really cute.  After Haddie noticed I was in the room she hopped off her toy car and brought me the book to read to her.

This particular book was one that we received free in a box of Haddie’s favorite cereal, Cheerios .  Haddie LOVES this book because the story is about dogs getting a bath, two of her favorite things in the world – “puppies” and  baths.  Brance and I have to spell the word bath anymore if we use it in conversation because anytime Haddie hears the word she excitedly heads to the bathroom ready to hop into the tub.
