Christmas Photos

Here are our Christmas Photos from Christmas 2008. Many of you will have received one or more of these in the mail with our Christmas letter, but a few people have asked to see them all.

We took these at my studio one afternoon. The family photo was the hard one since we had to use the timer on the camera. Without someone behind the camera to keep her attention and make her smile, we had a tough time. We finally stopped to pray about it and Lauren asked God for one good photo of Haddie. He gave us this one. It’s the only family photo in which she wasn’t making some kind of strange facial expression!

Wow!! If Haddie doesn’t look like KIT in the top right photo with the red hair and those eyes–whew! Of course, I remember when Kit was that age–and that’s what he looked like! (Sorry if he’s a guy and she a girl). I used to think she looked like Lauren as an infant, then Brance as she got older, now Kit…my how they change so rapidly. We spent the day with Katie on Tuesday, and there’s definitely a resemblance there, too. Can’t wait to get ALL the babies together some day before they grow up! Cute! Cute! Cute!

It is amazing how much their looks change. Mom and I were just talking about that today. Mom was saying that Haddie had changed so much in a week. I laughed and told her that sometimes I feel like she changes during the short time she takes a nap. I think I’m seeing more of Shannon in Katie theses days, especially her cute little nose (of course, that is judging by pics… we won’t get to see her in person until May :( . It would be a lot of fun to get all these great grandbabies together!

We love you too Aunt Holly! Thanks for keeping Haddie for us, btw. She had lots of fun :) .
