It was a rough weekend. Lauren went into labor Friday night at 9pm. it wasn’t regular so we stayed home, but didn’t get much sleep. Saturday the contractions started evening out and regulating. we finally came into the hospital at 10pm Saturday. Her water broke at 11:30pm. she was in labor pretty much all night with very little break. Sunday morning she was just not progressing. They started her on pitocin to help make the contractions stronger, hoping that would help. After 6 hours of the most intense labor, they decided to do a c-section.
She was so strong. She never had a drop of pain medication during the 40+ hours she was laboring.
Little Hadassah (Haddie) Grace was born yesterday at 4pm. Both her and Lauren and doing well. She’s cute as a button.
Update: I forgot to tell everyone, she weighed in at 7 lbs 13 oz, and measured 21.5″ long.
Woohooo!!! She is beautiful! Sorry delivery didn’t go as you would have liked (I completely understand)…but I’m so glad both lovely ladies are safe and healthy! Can’t wait to hear more…
CONGRATULATIONS!! I was so excited to hear the great news! Preston, Noah, and I are so thrilled for you all! We’re are praying for quick healing and joy in these first times with Haddie!
Welcome to the world, little one! So glad she finally made it. Labor is no fun at all, but she’ll forget all about it soon enough. I’m sure that sweet little baby is well worth all the hours of labor! I can’t wait to meet her!
What a gorgeous little girl! We are SO happy to welcome our latest “Kitley cousin.” Lauren and Brance, your adventure is just beginning. As I’ve told others before (including my kiddos) — only NOW will you begin to understand how much YOU are loved by your parents! We love you already, Haddie!!!!
